| Beschreibung: | 5569987 (9053) Jan 21, 1954; London, UK; A lion cub, from Jack Hylton's circus, was christened 'Winnie' by WINIFRED ATWELL, at the Savoy Hotel Variety Club Luncheon today, to mark the pianist's recent performance in the lions' cage at the Hylton Circus in aid of the Variety Club. FRANKIE HOWERD also helped in the christening, and Miss Atwell was presented with an inscribed silver lion as a permanent momento.
