| Beschreibung: | 5570961 (9053) Jul 23, 1958; Florence, Italy; The well known Itallian painter, PIETRO ANNIGONI, 64, known throughout the world for his portraits, is now at work at the delicate task of restoring the frescoes in a little 16th Century church in Ponte Buggianese in the center of Italy. Annigoni began his work in 1969 after a visit to the church. It was built in 1530, finnanced by a collection made by peasants, who still consider it their property.
