| Beschreibung: | 5572308 (9053) Aug 27, 1963; Durham, UK; Yesterday on the 27th anniversary of her first solo flight, Mrs. DIANA BARNATO WALKER became the first woman member of the R.A.F.'s 'Ten Ton Club' by flying a lightning aircraft at over 1000 m.p.h. Mrs WALKER is Corps Pilot to the Women's Junior Air Corps. During the war she was a Ferry Pilot. Mrs. Walker obtained special permission for the flight from the Air Minister. Mr. Hugh Fraser.
