This Taoist festival is held once a year on the 23rd day of the third moon in honor of Tin Hau, the patroness of the fishermen. The celebration, 24.04, takes place as SARS has taken its toll on Hong Kong's people and economy. But the will to celebrate was easy to detect on the street.
