| Beschreibung: | 5576596 (9053) Sep 23, 1981; London, UK; The first woman to achieve 100mph on water, LADY ARRAN, was today presented with the Castrol Sponsored Segrave Trophy at the RAC Club. She is the first woman to receive the award 'for outstanding skill and courage' on land, water or in the air since New Zealand airwoman Jean Batten, in 1936, and only the third in all, the other being Amy Johnson. In August last year 62 years old Lady Arran became the first woman to break the 100mph barrier at Lake Windermere.
